Summary:
One God in Three Persons, Unity and Trinity. The Holy Trinity is the "central Mystery "; the Mystery illlumines all other Mysteries (CCC, 234). In this packet a few analogies, that have been used throughout time to assist our human reason are discussed and even though they are helpful they fail in comparison to the mystery of the Trinity. John 3:16 (For God so loved the world...) is one of the most popular scriptures. The Holy Trinity, as the Catechism says is an "etneral exchange of love". How do we fit into that exchange of love the sharing of the divine life? Also in this packet the Sign of the Cross, our most basic prayer and its Trinitine nature is explained.
